Mike Marcinowski is a drummer, percussionist and educator living in Saint Paul, MN. Equally at home in rock, jazz and new music realms, he enjoys bringing the subtlety and nuance of free improvisation to tightly arranged pop music. While primarily a drum set player, Mike also plays djembe, dunduns, congas and mallet percussion. He can also be found accompanying world music dance classes, teaching drum, improvisation and composition lessons and collaborating with like-minded musicians, dancers and singers.
